Job description / Role
Position Title: Executive Assistant to the CEO
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 10,000 AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualification
Job location: Dubai, UAE
About the Client:
The hiring company is an international logistics and freight forwarding company
Job Role:
- Anticipate the CEO’s needs and proactively brings together appropriate people and resources to support in addressing these issues
- Complete critical aspects of deliverables and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem- solving, making adjustments to plans
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure the CEOs schedule runs effectively, acting as the gatekeeper to his diary
- Manage all incoming correspondence (emails, post, telephone calls), organizing in a systematic way
- Complete a broad range of administrative tasks for the CEO for both business and personal matters
- Ensure documents are filed in a systematic way and are readily available to the CEO when requested
- Manage external contacts and proactively understands who they are, who the primary contacts are, and keeping track of periodic communication needed for primary contacts
- Review operating practices and implements improvements where necessary
- Communicate to the team and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO
Requirements
Requirements:
- Male/Female, 35 years old and below
- Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Secretary or Personal Assistant to a Senior Executive with a demanding diary
- Work experience in the UAE is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in Logistics
- Must have an understanding of business priorities and an interest in retail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese in both written and oral
- Able to translate documents or letters from English to Chinese and vice versa
- Has strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills
- Must be flexible with working hours as to meet the demands of the role
