Executive Chef (Healthy Concept) for a Catering Services Company in Abu Dhabi

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
- Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
- Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
- Recruit and manage kitchen staff
- Rectify arising problems or complaints
- Give prepared plates the “final touch”
- Perform administrative duties
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Keep time and payroll records
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

- POSITION: Executive Chef (Consultant Part-Time of Full-Time Healthy Concept)
- SALARY: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications
- HIRING COMPANY: Catering Services Company
- WORK LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, UAE
- AVAILABILITY: Immediately or 1 month maximum
- EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent/Full time

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Open to Arabic, Western and Indian candidates
- Male/Female, 45 years old and below

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Degree/certification/training in culinary/hospitality management is preferred
- At least 5 years of similar work experience in healthy concept restaurants
- Must have strong, extensive experience handling outlets for healthy concept
- With extensive experience in banquets and catering for 3,000 – 4,000 pax number
- Current or most recent experience from a catering company is preferred
