Executive Director - Pre-Sales Engineering

The Executive director of Pre-Sales will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. You will have the ability to look at situations from several points of view; delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation, you should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.

As an Executive director - Pre-sales engineering, you will:

- Coordinate with Sales & the wider corporate organisation to identify opportunities & lead the discussions with customers to define innovative next generation solutions for their business
- Manage & take a hands-on role in structured, detailed & compelling pre-sales engagements ensuring in-depth stakeholder engagement throughout long & complex sales cycles
- Assist the sales team to drive revenue & profitability growth within the sector.
- Build strong relationships at "C" level and amongst key leaders within client organizations becoming a trusted advisor & thought leader
- Coordinate internal teams & resources to ensure strong planning & efficient execution of client projects
- Recruit & manage a small team of pre-sales, solution consulting & bid management specialists
- Continually research industry technical, organizational & process trends & innovations
- Attend conferences & engage in public speaking & press liaison to enhance wider recognition of the capabilities of the organization.
- Drive technical sales engagement by collaborating with the sales team to build relationships with client technical stakeholders, running technical workshops and discussions.

To bring your dream to life, you'll need:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer or IT Engineering (Masters Preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in presales, solution architecture or technical consulting in end-to-end IT Solutions domain (preferably in IT security).
- Technical and business knowledge in one of the following areas is desirable:
- SOC operations
- Network security
- IT Security consulting services
- Security advisory services
- Analytics and big-data
- Must have related industry renowned certifications.
- Proven experience of working on large Government accounts
- A desire to innovate in the UAE
