Lehman Brothers is committed to serving the important and growing needs of state-owned investment institutions around the world and has recently appointed a newly-created, cross-divisional role of global head of Sovereign Wealth Funds.
We are currently seeking to an Executive Assistant. Based in Dubai UAE, the appointee will be required to provide one-on-one executive support to the Global Head of Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWF).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide a dedicated one-on-one support to a Managing Director
Liaison with other MD offices across the Firm globally
Extensive diary management and meeting co-ordination
Extensive travel arrangements; co-ordination of flights, tickets, Foreign Exchange, accommodation and ground transportation
Inbox management via Microsoft Outlook
Project administration, including correspondence with client parties
Telephone duties: including taking of comprehensive messages and screening calls where appropriate
Extensive liaison between clients' and their assistants to arrange meetings, conferences etc
Providing absence cover to other team members as required
Ad-hoc administrative duties.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound administration, organisational and prioritisation ability, along with a detail-orientated approach
Able to multi-task effectively and work on own initiative with limited supervision
Ability to use own judgment and have an proactive approach to work
Effective team player with well developed interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic, with the ability to be assertive
Discreet - Ability to deal with highly confidential matters
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook.
Fluency in written & spoken English is a pre-requisite
Fluency in Arabic is highly advantageous
Significant experience of working within the Investment Banking, Financial Services or Professional Services industries
