Expeditor - Oil and Gas

Job description / Role

My client is a leading international contractor who specialize in oil and gas and marine projects and are working in a number of high profile projects in the Middle East. They are currently looking to recruit and experienced expeditor to work on a new pipeline project in the UAE. The role will involve;

• At Project start-up or RFQ stage, organize and define the criticality rating review with the appropriate tool.
• Organize most of the time remotely the Kick off meeting (OKM) and attend to Pre-production meetings (PPM).
• Ensure all deliverables are produced, reviewed and approved, by all involved parties as per Purchase Order schedule to enable the next stage of manufacture to proceed.
• Receive and forward the Supplier’s Notification for Inspection to the QA/QC. Monitors the progress of the Inspections, ensure that the Inspections reports are received, reviewed, agreed and logged, use the update weeks look ahead to anticipate consequences on schedule.
• Follow up closely the manufacturing progress

Requirements

• Candidates should have an engineering degree and should have a proven background of working as an expeditor in the oil and gas industry.
• Candidates must have worked for an EPC contractor and must have worked in the United Arab Emirates
