External Sales Manager

Job description / Role

- Visit customers to promote and build strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Grow revenue each month
- Grow customer base. Both the number of customers, and variety of customers in different market segments

Maintain customer contact and focus
- Ensure customer expectations are met every time we interact with a customer
- Ensure customer is satisfied with our service.
- Visit a minimum of 1 customer per day
- Visit one new customer each week.

Manage internal requirements
- Keep in close communication with the operations coordinator, field employees, and the sales team leader
- Ensure sales visit reports are completed, shared with operations coordinator, and sales team leader
- Chase unpaid invoices
- Keep in close communication with Sales Support to complete quotations to present to customers
- Clearly understand why each quotation was won / lost
- Work with sales team leader on marketing and sales strategy to decide which customers to target, why, and how to win
- Have a clear understanding of the market rates for all our products and services.
- Assist with tenders in compliance with RFQ, complete al tender clarifications and negotiations

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Background in rigging, lifting, NDT, TDI, inspection services
- Awareness of a sales methodology (SWOT, porters 5 forces, Target account, SPIN, SNAP, Miller Heiman, etc)
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information;
- Knowledge of INCOTERM’s and Supply Chain Managements;
- High school diploma or University Degree;
- Knowledge off MS Office programs and e-mail at highly proficient level;
- Fluent in English.
