Job description / Role

Responsible for supervising, guiding and monitoring Charge Hands and Artisans involved in the execution of discipline-specific activities associated with NPCC construction functions.

Duties:
- Supervises activities.
- Develops work plans.
- Diagnoses & troubleshoots.
- Trains & mentors junior colleagues.
- Productivity tests for use in estimates.
- On-site client contact.
- Safe work practices.
- New equipment testing.
- Basic calculations.
- Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.

Requirements

- 12 years schooling & a discipline- specific technical qualification.
- Attendance at courses & seminars.
- 9 year’s relevant experience.
- Supervisory potential – Team leader.
- Good communication skills and a strong cultural awareness.
- Planning and organizing skills.
- Initiative and sound judgement.
- Written and spoken English – Report writing.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
