A well-established UAE based company with diversified businesses including, Hospitality, Real Estate and Other Investments is looking to hire an experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer to manage its Maintenance team.

The Company currently owns and operates 12 properties mostly low rise apartments, spread across the UAE from Abu Dhabi to Sharjah with almost 600 units being owned by the single landlord.

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer you are expected to bring an energetic level of enthusiasm, tenacity and focus to our dedicated maintenance team whilst possessing the following:
• Managing in-house supervisors & janitorial teams deployed for the 12 properties.
• Coordination with the in-house Maintenance team to monitor smooth MEP services for the 12 buildings.
• Ensure preventive and break down maintenance is carried out promptly and effectively.
• Attend meeting with the subcontractors to address current issues and new developments.
• Attend the planned Preventive Maintenance Plan for MEP services to update the status and maintain records.
• Respond to priority emergency breakdown complaints of the Properties.
• Inspect the work completed by contractors, approve their job completion report / invoice for timely payment.
• Maintains complete inventory of tools and equipment by purchase date and value; ensures all tools and equipment is maintained to highest levels of functionality and safety.
• Coordination with subcontractors for the Firefighting systems, Access Control systems, Elevator, and other specialized equipments.
• Participate in the preparation and administration of the facility maintenance budget; submit budget recommendations; monitor expenditures; prepare cost estimates; submit justifications for equipment; monitor budget expenditures.

Requirements

To be successfully considered for this role, we require a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and fire systems within the Real Estate industry.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Facilities Maintenance Engineer of Asst. Manager in the UAE
• You should be holding a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with good command of the English Language
• Presentable, Strong personality, commands respect
• Excellent command of MS Office products including PowerPoint presentations
• Ability to motivate, mentor & guide Staff
