Facilities Management Co-ordinator (Building Services)

Job description / Role

Idama is a provider of Integrated Facilities Management solutions for real estate developments. From the complex maintenance of heating and ventilation systems, to the meticulous cleaning of offices and receptions, Idama manages the facilities of all types of built environment.

The FMC is responsible for managing, monitoring, coordinating and reporting all activities performed in the front of house and back of house related to the operations of the facilities.

They will ensure that the areas under their responsibility are at all times presentable and safe for occupancy.

They must have strong organisational and communication skills, have a technical background and represent the Client at all times in a professional manner.

It is expected that the individual will work closely with the Client and their representatives throughout the tenure of the contract.

Salary:
AED 9,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Minimum Graduate Degree or equivalent Diploma in (Mechanical or Electrical) Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant technical role in the FM industry.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing Fluent in English (communication and writing)
• Ability to resolve problems under pressure and be decisive, keeping the Client’s interest in mind.
• Flexibility and adaptability to execute the needs of the Client
• Ability to utilize available resources effectively
• Familiar with local legislation and statutory requirements (UAE Civil Defence code, Dubai Municipality regulations, NFPA, etc.).
• Familiar with EAM and asset management system
