Facilities Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and manage all hard and soft services operations at our Abu Dhabi location. The successful candidate will ensure the effective and efficient maintenance of our facilities, providing a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for all occupants while optimizing operational costs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Manage and supervise all hard and soft services staff and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life expectancy.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and manage budgets related to facilities management, controlling expenditures without compromising quality.
- Handle emergency response procedures and ensure readiness for situations like fire, power failure, and other facility-related incidents.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to align facility operations with organizational goals.
- Prepare regular reports on facility status, projects, and expenditures for senior management review.

- Bachelor’s degree Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within hard and soft services.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety standards in the UAE.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and MS Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
