Role Overview
The Facility and Supply Chain Manager will oversee the management, optimization, and compliance of all Waagner Biro Bridge Services’ facilities—specifically Al Quoz Facility (AQF), Al Batayeh Yard, and Al Barsha Yard. The role requires expertise in multi-site warehouse and inventory management, strategic procurement, process reengineering, and stakeholder engagement, applying international supply chain standards and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent) methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warehouse and inventory operations across AQF, Al Batayeh, and Al Barsha yards, ensuring seamless material flow and inventory accuracy.
- Lead process reengineering, digitalization initiatives, and warehouse space optimization.
- Deploy and manage IBM Maximo asset management system, with a focus on inventory management, forecasting, and asset architecture to meet RTA store requirements.
- Develop and execute supply chain budgets, conduct cost analysis, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure dangerous goods storage compliance and oversee HSE standards, including regular audits and risk assessments.
- Implement formal requisition and documentation processes for inventory withdrawals, enforcing project-specific material allocation.
- Supervise and train cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project managers, ensuring effective communication and alignment with organizational goals.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies or equivalent process improvement experience to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and inventory level reduction.
- Standardize warehouse and logistics processes, introduce digital tools, and implement KPIs for efficiency and compliance.
- Communicate effectively in Hindi with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in supply chain, warehouse, and facility management across multi-site operations.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent process improvement experience.
- Proven track record in strategic procurement, inventory planning, and warehouse optimization.
- Strong ERP/digital inventory management skills, with emphasis on IBM Maximo.
- Experience in HSE compliance and dangerous goods management.
- Fluent in Hindi and English.
