Position Title: Faculty – Aircraft Engineering Technology

Job Description:
• Production of teaching materials for students for whom the faculty member has responsibility.
• Development of course material with appropriate guidance from the program coordinator.
• Limited administrative functions primarily connected with courses in which the faculty member teaches.
• Acting as instructor of record or section coordinators provided that their skills and experience demonstrate this capacity.
• Recommending relevant changes to the curriculum committee as appropriate.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Applicants must be qualified to Master but preferred PhD level in relevant areas of aviation technologies and/or internationally recognised equivalent EASA/GCAA /FAA pt-66/147 license is preferred
• IELTS academic score of band 7 is a must for non-native English speakers.
• All candidates must obtain the Equivalency certificate for their highest qualification/from the MOE, UAE.
• Local candidates (based in the UAE) should submit the Equivalency certificates before joining and overseas candidates has to submit the UAE attested certificates (High school, Bachelor, Master & PhD as applicable) before joining.
• Knowledge of related standards of operations needed per assigned function, mainly knowledge of EASA / GCAA Cat B license requirements and competence in at least one of its related subject areas (B1 or B2) in aircraft engineering technologies.
• Experience in EASA/GCAA CAT B/FAA basic training environment
• A minimum of cumulative aviation related experience of 15 years in a related field to include 10 years of teaching/training experience (in case of Master Holders)
• Sound knowledge in EASA/GCAA Part-66 and Part-147 regulations (Basic Training)
• A record of publications in the aviation and/or in an engineering related field
• Knowledge in military aviation training concepts is preferred
