Employment: Full Time

FCC Analyst, Law Enforcement, UAE

Purpose of this role is to operate and run the FCC UAE Law Enforcement function - e.g. receipt, classification, logging, central operation search, escalation and response.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Business

* To appropriately review and action all Cases received from UAE Central Bank website
* To appropriately review and action all Cases received from UAE Central Bank URL.
* To archive all documents received from relevant local and regulatory authorities in the share drive.
* Filing of signed off hard copies.
* Prepare and update the relevant MI in the department.
* Archive and retrieve the physical documents as required.
* Keep track of and respond to relevant stakeholders on various enquiries.

Processes

* Ensure compliance with FCC-related policies and procedures in FCC UAE.

Risk Management

* Understand technical aspects of systems relevant to Case Management.
* Apply Group and FCC policies and processes (AML surveillance, client screening, risk assessment) to manage risks.
* Inform senior management and relevant regulators of serious regulatory breaches (or where risk tolerances have been breached) and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate and/or activities are ceased.
* Identify intelligence for typology studies and risk mitigation plans.
* Map risks, quantify the potential impact and escalate where necessary.
* Provide intelligence (to internal forums) on specific clients, client-types and emerging risk typologies.

Governance

* Collateanalyse and provide data to senior management and relevant governance/risk committees.
* Design and maintain dashboards and metrics that allow FCC to dynamically monitor financial crime risk and operational performance for key FCC processes.
* Analyse and interpret data to produce reports that help the bank identify and manage emerging areas of risk / vulnerability and thus drive remediation action within the FCC function

Regulatory & Business conduct (The below is mandatory standard wording, do not remove)

* Lead the FCC UAE Law Enforcement team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Operation of Financial Markets; Financial Crime Prevention; The Right Environment.
* Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders

* UAE Central Bank; Anti-Money Laundering & Suspicious Cases Unit (AMLSCU).
* Work closely with FCC UAE and FCC Controls to ensure timely data flow.
* Support the CHoFCC in strengthening the relationship with regulators.
* Work closely with all applicable business segments and relevant stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities

* Embed Here for good and Group's brand and values in FCC UAE team.
* Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.

Requirements

* The role holder will ideally have experience dealing with Central Bank request.
* The role holder will have experience working in an international bank.
* Solid Microsoft Office experience, specifically with Excel.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Arabic Speaker
