FF&E Designer

Job description / Role

Our leading International Interior Design consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced consultant FF&E Designer to join their team in Dubai to work on new high profile hospitality, commercial and F&B projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an FF&E Designer with expertise in design for hospitality and F&B projects in the UAE and have worked for a recognised consultancy client.

This roles is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-6 Month fixed term contract position as an outsourced employee of our client employed by J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume an assistant role in design presentations in communicating with clients and ensure that format is compatible with office and client standards/requirements
• Help develop and execute the FF&E direction for overall project and communicate to the project team
• Communicate project status to senior FF&E designer on a regular basis and develop and maintain communication with all project team members, including the operations director
• Attend site meetings and assist in the process of reviewing the project
• Designing and sourcing FF&E from concept through to finished details
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers in order to ensure FF&E is delivered on time and on budget
• Liaising with design and purchasing teams to ensure FF&E is in line with client expectations and to budget
• Building relationships with suppliers and organising CPD days
• Working on project ‘fit-outs’ and overseeing the installation of FF&E alongside contractors - involving stays away from home
• Participate in the establishment and maintenance of FF&E design standards for the company
• Keep abreast of new trends that may influence FF&E design scheme

FF&E Designer - BIM Experience:

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in FF&E and interior design.
• Proven experience in FF&E design for hospitality, commercial and F&B projects
• Strong knowledge of international and local suppliers, materials, and finishes
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
