Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Independently carry out the technical, administrative and commercial planning of new installations, maintenance and service activities on Turbomachinery equipment for Field Service personnel.
- Prepares delegates and instructs all ongoing site activities. Cost and claims calculation for Field Service projects.
- Ensures that all work done in the field is clearly reported and documented.
- Handle all administrative, technical and commercial work in connection with the delegation of Field Service personnel.
- Checks if there are adequately qualified field service personnel available in the selected region (using the Competence Matrix and if necessary feedback from the Quality and Capacity Manager) and ensure the regional field service personnel are trained / qualified for the assignments in the region
- Maintains a regular contact / exchange with the Quality and Capacity Managers, Pool Leaders and Field Service Coordinators
- Analysis and distributes all assignments that are send to the region and distributes the assignments to the local Field Service Coordinators / Pool Leaders in the region according to the qualification levels and returns the assignments back to HQ if qualified personal are not available.
- Analyses the work scope according to the personnel request and ensure that sufficient information concerning the work scope is available.
- Coordination & communication among all parties involved in the field service activities
- Regular reporting in writing to the management of all activities, commercial, technical and personnel issues.
- Instructs and support Field Service Coordinator and dispatcher related to planning and scheduling of all Field Service staff activities
- Calculates and issue quotations for Service, troubleshooting, new installation and commissioning.
- Arranges and lead the kick-off/pre-installation meeting as well as follow up site inspections

Requirements

- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Graduate from Senior High School
- At least 5 years practical experience on rotating equipment (steam turbines, turbo compressors, and expanders)
- Very good knowledge of Rotating Equipment (steam turbines, compressors and expanders)
- Experience in reading drawings, technical documents, instructions, sketches/explanation of details and cross sectional drawings.
- Organization, planning and improvisation skills
- Cost and result oriented, and high physical and mental strength.
- Good reporting skills
- Very good social skills
- Advanced analytical thinking, independent, punctual, resolute, can handle stress and manage difficult situations in a calm manner.
- Good Computer knowledge (MS Office, MS Project).
- Flexibility to work longer hours, weekends, etc. to meet with customers scheduling requirements
- Good communication skills in English and and in conversation with clients, subcontractors and other staff at site.
