Film & Sales Distribution Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is now recruiting for a Film Sales & Distribution Manager.

Role:
• Liaising with Film Distributors for film releases to ensure they reach bigger audiences and make a profit
• Handle sales & distribution for markets Internationally to release English language feature films
• Liaising with Film Sales Agents for Selling and publicizing films to the media, marketing partners, cinemas and the public
• Liaising with Production houses for potential business opportunities.
• Liaising with Marketing & PR Agencies for film’s promotion and publicity in respective markets.
• Sales Pitch & Presentations.
• Develop leads for new film projects.
• Travel will be entailed in case required

Requirements

• Minimum 8 year experience working in an International Film Environment in Sales & Distribution
• Prior experience dealing with major International Distribution & Film Production companies.
• Presentation and pitching skills
• A strong head for figures
• Have a good business sense
• Be a good negotiator
• Be aware of different cultural trends and market dynamics across territory
• Have good experience of the film industry and a knowledge of film markets
• Be knowledgeable and passionate about film
• Have good financial skills and salesmanship
• Willing to multi-task on multiple projects.
• Fluent in English- spoken and written
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Willingness to work across different time-zones is essential.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Based in UAE.
