Finance & Accounts Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Accounts Manager to join our dynamic investment management firm in the UAE. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role is pivotal to supporting the company’s growth and maintaining financial health.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to optimize financial performance and risk management.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members to enhance departmental capabilities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification such as CPA or ACCA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within investment management or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Proven ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes effectively.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial data.
