Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Working within a global consultancy firm in the DIFC, this organization manages C-suite clients across the region and as such prides itself on its professionalism and well deserved excellent reputation. This new position therefore requires a diligent and proactive candidate with book keeping and accountancy skills to assist the Finance Manager on a day to day basis.

The core function of this role will be to provide accounts receivable and payables management. Ensuring that all invoices are logged on the system, tracking client payments and following up with formal emails, communication and professionalism is a key aspect for success. Bank reconciliations, AR/AP analysis and financial reports collation is regularly required and in the absence of the Finance Manager, you will also monitor payments to the company account and liaise directly with the bank when required. Strong excel skills and a natural ability with figures is required as there will be opportunities for growth in this organization. Additionally, you will also support the HR function with basic PRO duties which include the onboarding of new joiner’s documents, visa issuing and renewals, medical and expenses claims and company licensing renewals.

Requirements

Our client requires those who show great potential and the ability to be flexible with their workload to assist other departments when required. However, the main function of this role will be within a finance capability. Therefore, we are seeking those with a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a basic bookkeeping or Junior Accountant role. You will be degree educated (preferably within finance or mathematics) and have an excellent standard of the English language in order to write professional and accurate correspondence to senior level clients.
