Job description / Role
Our client are a Multi-National global leader within the maritime industry who have built an impeccable reputation as a leader within their field. They are seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team, in a highly progressive role.
The position will involve the preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports on a monthly basis, ensure the accuracy of management reports, offer business support to the management team through analytics, assist in the preparation of business plans & valuations, handle the execution of various initiatives and projects taken up from the finance department and maintain/manage the financial dashboards.
The position will also be involved in preparing & maintaining the annual budgets, rolling forecasts and working closely with the business owners to support the decision making process. You will furthermore be involved in monitoring capital budgeting and cash flow as well as providing financial analysis and guidance to the business units of the group.
Requirements
To be successful, you will have 1-2 years’ experience in an accounting role and approx. 2 years’ experience in an analyst role, be degree educated and preferably hold a Master’s degree or specific finance qualification in addition to this. You will have more financial analytical experience then accounting experience, be comfortable with management reporting (especially to board level), have financial valuation & modelling exposure as well as budget analytics experience.
