Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading multinational within the marine engineering sector whose MENA operation is headquartered in Dubai. Our client is looking to hire a Regional Finance and Administration Manager whom possesses language skills in Arabic, English and French, this reflects their project pipeline and business coverage across the Middle East and North Africa.
This role will take ownership of all areas of accounting, financial management and controllership to develop strong robust and localised report packs and financial accounts within their regional entities. This financing aspect shall also extend to areas of project based accounting and costing to ensure solid commercial support to the business operations. Supporting the Area Controller you shall also oversee areas of administration linking to payroll, taxation and compliance documentation whilst ensuring adequate regulatory and audit based controls are in place and adhered to.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be an experienced finance professional who can manage a broad role across a large geographical region with a strong and demonstrable ability to communicate across the 3 languages specified above. You will ideally posses knowledge of project based businesses and they shall inherent a team of accounting and administrative staff; thus management experience shall be a pre-requisite. The nature of the business does also require travel to remote sites and the candidate must be comfortable and willing to be part of that.
