A DIFC global law firm with a presence in Dubai for over 10 years are seeking a committed and highly pro active Finance Assistant. Covering several different division of Law including finance, private equity and corporate and with an overall team of 20, all staff members are extremely dedicated and hard working to ensure all deadlines are met. The atmosphere is upbeat and positive and full support is given from all levels including the Managing Partners. For the role of Finance Assistant it is essential that you have Finance experience from a law firm as you will be expected to use internal systems such as Aderant and Elite, provide time sheets and billing for the solicitors and WIP reports to Senior management on a regular basis. The role also encompasses credit control, so fluency in English is essential in order to liaise with clients efficiently. The successful candidate will also be assisting with month end accounts, audit preparation and participate in ad hod finance projects. The role is heavily focused on data entry, so candidates with an exceptional eye for detail should apply.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this vacancy you should have at least 2 years experience in Finance within a law setting and an associated degree. You will be accustomed to working on your own initiative to ensure invoices are processed and payments collected according to the contracts and deadlines given. Those with a mature attitude and keen interest in career progression will be highly desirable.
