Charterhouse are currently involved in a search with an emerging organisation, within the logistics and distribution segment, whom are in the process of looking to identify a Finance Associate of Accounts Receivable.
Reporting in to the Head of Finance, this role shall take ownership and overall responsibility for the management of all invoicing and collection functions, across the organisation, whilst developing any internal policies and/or staffing needs, to manage a disciplined and effective receivables stream within their finance operation. In conjunction with the management of these debtors, the role shall require the development of strong management reporting, to overview and meet collection targets. In combination, the role will handle any client-related interaction; in ensuring a timely and smooth collections strategy to support the required cash flow management and operational liquidity targets.
Our client will look to hire an individual, with a track record of 5 years’ experience, across a collections and receivables function from a corporate-based environment. The successful candidate shall be required to demonstrate methodical accounting and administrative skills whilst also possessing strong influencing and negotiation skills, where necessary, to enhance and evolve relationships to meet client-specific targets and collection objectives. The role shall also demand a candidate whom can implement strong organisational and standardised processes, allowing open and informative communication, in the support of internal and external relationship management. The client envisages hiring a candidate with a background in service-based industries and/or client-facing (B2B or B2C) multinational companies.
