Employment: Full Time

ROLE PURPOSE:
The job holder is part of the financial planning team and is responsible to provide support to the CFO and SM – Financial Planning in key tactical and strategic decision making by identifying issues and undertaking projects to resolve finance division issues

KEY ACCCOUNTABILITIES
• Support in financial analysis of strategic projects across functions and adhoc requests from the SM – Financial planning
• Support in the development of the business plan by collaborating with the HO and finance function leads under the supervision of SM Financial planning
• Facilitate collaboration across all departments/sections to help accomplish specific business objectives
• Manage cross-function finance projects, ensuring a holistic and integrated approach is adopted
• Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
• Challenge existing processes and ways of doing things to orchestrate changes towards a more agile finance
function operating model
• Identify the business areas for improvement by gathering key insights and feedback on process pain points from process owners
• Work with the finance team to identify potential improvement opportunities to engage in, based on the business impact and strategic relevance
• Provide progress reports, trackers and KPIs for each project as necessary to the Chief Finance Officer
• Effectively communicate across all levels of the business to ensure key and senior stakeholders are kept up to date with project progress and highlight any risk and issues to achieve the project objectives

Requirements

QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION
• A degree in Business / Finance with 7 years of post-qualification experience

EXPERIENCE
• Experience in managing project and organization skills
• Experience in organizing teams to solve issues
• Project Management and Planning experience
• Communication and presentation experience

CERTIFICATIONS,KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Dynamic, self-driven with strong business understanding and background.
• Strategic thinking with strong focus on results and high quality of work; able to “think out of the box”.
• Very good leadership skills including people management, selection and development skills.
• Very good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language.
• Ability to summarize information for different audiences.
• Able to think creatively and solve problems.
• Able to maintain independent and objective judgement strong level of customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and utilize significant amounts of independent judgment.
• Very good presentation skills.
• Very good analytical, planning, forecasting, execution and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced in managing/working with a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing in order to achieve goals and deliverables.
