Job description / Role
Job Purpose
• The finance department in Educon Management Consultancy is responsible for the results of a few small sized operations of the Group.
• The financial controller will be responsible for the efforts and results of the financial department.
• The candidate will be reporting direct to the General Manager of Educon and will oversee financial department staff in day to day operations.
Role and Responsibilities
• Coordinate to develop budgets and financial plans
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported
• Maintain a system of controls over the accounting transactions
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify financial results and trends (including financial and operating metrics)
• Report to the General Manager with timely and accurate financial information
• Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
• Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants
Requirements
Qualification and Education Requirements
• CPA / ACCA professional qualification
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting and finance
• 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience
