Position Title: Finance Controller
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 16K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

About the Client:
A Dubai based international shipping vessel agency servicing Africa and Europe

Job Description:
- Review system journal entries, schedules, General Ledgers, Trial Balance for accuracy and finalization of Financial Statements while ensuring IFRS/IAS compliance.
- Identify and assess risks associated with various business operations, ensuring that risk management practices are in placed to review & rectify previous entries.
- Review banking system and ensure operation fund requests are being handled with accuracy, with entries maintained for Intercompany transactions.
- Analyse and finalize monthly & annual Financial Statements & Management reports.
- Review of Accounts Receivables, Payables, working capital management and other reconciliations.

- Open to Asian and European nationalities
- 30 to 45 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certifications (such as CPA, CIA, or CISA) is often preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis, with a background in internal auditing being advantageous.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar. And Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Excel
