Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Controller to oversee and manage the
financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in
financial management, reporting, and compliance, coupled with exceptional leadership skills.
This role involves working closely with senior management to ensure the financial health and
growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
• Develop and implement financial controls, systems, and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with various departments.
• Provide strategic input for long-term financial planning and scenario analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:
• Oversee the AR process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and cash applications.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and establish robust credit control policies to minimize bad debts.
• Analyze AR aging reports, resolve disputes, and improve the overall collection cycle.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to optimize the revenue recognition process.

Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
• Supervise the AP function to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable payment terms.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent duplicate payments or fraud.
• Drive efficiency improvements in the AP process through automation or workflow optimization.

Fixed Asset Register (FAR) Management:
• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) to ensure accurate recording of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Conduct periodic physical asset verification and reconciliation to identify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) for fixed asset accounting.
• Develop and enforce policies for capital expenditure approvals and asset tagging.

Risk Management:
• Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements, including tax filings, audits, and corporate governance regulations.
• Manage internal and external audits, addressing any discrepancies or concerns promptly.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks through effective control mechanisms and insurance strategies.

Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering professional growth and skill development.
• Build a high-performing finance department aligned with organizational goals.
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to enhance financial awareness and accountability.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 10-15 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Tally, SAP).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
