Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Leadership
- Provide leadership to the local Finance team in all areas of controlling, financial management and analysis
- Management of strong operational performance of the local team
- Work in strong partnership with JV partner and their finance teams

Operations
- Assist in developing and implementing standard costing system. Raise local financing and also roll out the internal controls environment to JV
- Calculate, verify and explain major production variances
- Monitor and control all Capex projects, requests and monthly progress reporting
- Monthly operation reporting in company format
- Participate and lead monthly analysis with European Operations team
- Monthly Production Forecasting
- Annual Budget setting
- Calculation of Labour and Overhead absorption rates
- Verification of Standard Cost and Bill of Material accuracy
- Support the work of the Operations team

Commercial
- Weekly sales reporting in company format
- Improve existing margin analysis by customer/region/product
- Verify customer pricing decisions
- Ensure accuracy of monthly sales forecasting
- Improve link between Commercial forecasts and Product sourcing
- Monitor warranty expenditure by product/region
- Develop annual budgets
- Support the work of the Commercial team

Finance
- Help the Finance Manager in preparation of monthly accounts
- Monthly reporting of final Trial Balance into Hyperion HFM
- Monthly review of major Balance sheet provisions and accruals
- Provide provisional sign off data as part of month end process
- Implementation of an internal controls system in accordance to company policy and the local treasury act

Forecasting
- Coordinate monthly P&L forecasting procedure by linking Commercial forecasting with Sourcing and Operational requirements
- Establishing and forecasting SG&A costs

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree standard qualification
- Qualified Accountant from a recognised Institute
- Minimum 8 years experience of which 5 must be within a leadership position, must have strong financial reporting and analysis skills and worked ideally within a manufacturing company
- A “can do” attitude, comfortable in a fast changing and challenging environment, work on own initiative
- Change orientated
- Operational - Be prepared to get involved in building the business and the accounting systems
- Pleasant, positive and approachable demeanour
- Be prepared to travel
- Strong systems/IT skills
- Building relationship skills / influencing and negotiation skills
- Planning and organising skills - ability to manage a number of tasks in a timely manner
- Commercial understanding and acumen
- Strong proven leadership skills (coaching, driving, setting goals/objectives)
