Job description / Role
A leading Luxury Retail business with operations in the Middle East is looking for a qualified Finance Director or Snr. Financial Controller looking for the next step to lead a growing Finance team.
Responsibilities Summary
• Lead growing Finance and Accounting team and working closely with CEO to develop a strategic commercial plan
• Develop financial and tax strategies
• Improve and maintain internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the business and oversee the coordination and activities of internal and external auditors ensuring all compliance issues are met
• Delivery of the budget, strategic plans and forecasts
• Monthly reporting to Group CFO in Europe (travel every H1/H2)
• Hands on role working with visibility to store GM's to drive commercial value
Requirements
• You must be ACCA, ACA, FCCA or CIMA
• Big 4 trained
• 8+ years experience in a Finance position
• US GAAP and IFRS experience
• Ideally with luxury retail or retail industry exposure
• You must be able to travel freely across Europe and US
