Finance Executive

Job description / Role

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, VAT, and financial reporting. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and monthly closing processes.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and support compliance with UAE tax laws.
• Oversee payroll processing, leave salary, gratuity, and other employee-related payouts.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure proper accounting classifications.
• Generate financial reports, MIS reports, and support audits as required.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships, contract records, and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
• Work collaboratively on ad hoc finance projects and support senior finance staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com or equivalent); MBA or ACCA part-qualified is a plus.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or a related industry.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and corporate tax basics.
• Hands-on experience with payroll, petty cash management, and inventory analysis is desirable.
