Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical finance executive specializing in accounts receivable to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounts receivable operations

Process and reconcile incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports, identifying trends and discrepancies

Perform billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines

Collaborate with the credit team to evaluate customer credit worthiness and establish appropriate credit limits

Resolve payment discrepancies and handle customer queries professionally and efficiently

Assist in month-end closing processes and preparation of financial statements

Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures for accounts receivable

Contribute to continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes and systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

Relevant experience in accounts receivable or similar finance role in hospitality industry

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards
