Finance & Shipping Lawyer - International Law Firm - Dubai
4 PQE+ England & Wales admitted, Common law
Will ideally have worked previously exp in the GCC.
An International law firm is looking to bolster is already impressive Finance & Shipping team with a strategic hire.
The firm in question is a leading international outfit which has developed a reputation as one of the leading international outfit in the region. They offer unparalleled exposure to the market, both in the shipping sector and outside of it.
Ideally candidates will have already worked in the GCC from an international sphere. As an international law firm they want to bring on board individuals who are comfortable working in such an environment and are familiar with such etiquette.
Likewise candidate will have had to been exposed to a number of high level shipping matters. The client is looking to bring someone in who is comfortable in front of clients and capable of advising numerous parties of the same client at the same time.
Likewise this role is a split of contentious and non contentious work. Candidates must be familiar with both sides in this regard and this will be question. Lawyers who believe that they have specialised too much in one regards will find themselves at a slight disadvantage.
Requirements
Candidates will also need to be at least a 4PQE+ (England & Wales equivalent). This role is client facing and you will be expected to meet and exceed targets, targets which are not at a junior level.
The salary is at an international level and candidate are advised that this would be between
£80,000 - £110,000 plus benefits.
