Our Middle East sales office in Dubai is looking for an analytical, hard-working ambitious person to become AMEAP Finance Manager. The position reports through to the Financial Planning & Performance Manager located in the Netherlands. The Finance Manager is responsible for all aspects of financial & managerial accounting & reporting, planning & forecasting, compliance & audit. In addition to the core financial competencies, the FM must be a business partner to the AMEAP Region leaders and their team.

Main duties of the role:
- Responsible for managing month end close activities, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation of P&L, balance sheets accounts and fixed assets. Ensure discrepancies are resolved in a timely fashion as well as establish controls and set procedures.
- Ensure the Dubai Branch meets all of its legal and statutory requirements, including annual audits, trade licenses, visa renewals. Preparation of necessary supporting documentation for annual audits, liaising with both external and internal auditors.
- Responsible for management reporting including financial analysis, monthly reporting, budget and forecasting
- Business Partnering with the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Africa/Middle East (AFME) Cluster Director and Commercial team including pricing support, margin analysis, financial counterpart for new partnerships, and an overall proactive support to the Commercial team
- Accounts Payable (Dubai): Manage the financial accountant & ensure controls & accuracy are in place.
- Accounts Receivable: Working together with Customer Services to ensure timely collection and appropriate credit limits and terms are maintained across AMEAP
- Be an active member within the international Finance team participating in Finance meetings both online and in Europe

Requirements

- Finance/Accounting or Economics Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Arabic is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- SAP, BPC knowledge
- Experience in JAFZA is an asset
- Experience with working in UAE
