Finance Manager

Job description / Role

Working alongside a medium sized logistics organisation in the search for an experienced Finance Manager.

The successful Finance Manager will report to the Financial Controller of the organisation. My client is a leading name in the logistics industry; having won several awards in the recent years, and are rapidly growing due to their recent successes.

The role will be accountable for managing the existing Finance team. The position is an exciting, and dynamic, role due to the growth of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include;
- Managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function
- Maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Preparing and completing monthly management accounts
- Undertaking management reporting
- Maintaining banking relationships
- Forecasting cash flow positions and available funds for investment
- Managing the preparation of the company’s budget
- Assisting management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction

Requirements

- Qualified Accountant with either CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Proven supervisory experience
- Proven experience within logistics and shipping
- Ability to deliver results in a fast paced environment
