Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a Dubai based representative office who is looking to hire a Finance Manager within their regional finance team.
Reporting directly to the Regional CEO and their Regional Finance Director you will take ownership of all financial management and accounting related matters across the business entity, whilst also ensuring the appropriate financial reporting and compliance related controls are in place, linking to both regulatory and internal governance.
This reporting function shall be overseen in conjunction with the management of transactional accounting, linked to payables and receivables, to ensure sufficient funding, cash-flows and capital adequacy requirements. You will also have responsibility for the closure of financial statements, at month-end and quarter-end aligned to IAS and IFRS policies, whilst liaising with head office finance to set budgets and financial planning parameters.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA), with a thorough and recent track record within the property and service sector and the ability to demonstrate a strong grasp of operational and industry best practices. You should also have a maximum of 7 years' demonstrable experience, whereby a management capability can be introduced for succession planning purposes.
