Finance Manager

Job description / Role

We are recruiting a Finance Manager for our client in Business Bay which specialises in setting up companies in the UAE, by introducing them to the right type of sponsor or freezone.

Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Partners
• Timely and accurate petty cash
• Manage Payroll
• Deal with AR and credit control
• Ensure financial records are maintained in IFRS
• Deliver monthly financial management reports
• Perform intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile various bank accounts and cash equivalents
• Prepare accounts up to trial balance
• Budget and forecast activities
• Manage tax schedules and monitor, resolve and support in taxation issues
• Prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Prepare regular financial management reports
• Coordinate the audit process
• Deliver accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses

Salary:
AED 13,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting
• Min 3 years’ experience spent working in Dubai so far
• Western passport holder is preferred
• Hands-on, can do attitude
• Great sense of humour
• At least 5 year’s commercial experience within a finance team or similar position in the UAE
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
• Proficient in Microsoft packages (particularly Excel)
• Proficiency in financial systems and ability to quickly pick up on new software, (Quickbooks and Xero preferred.)
• English Language — Excellent written and verbal communication skills
