Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Record supplier invoices on a timely basis
• Prepare payments vouchers, transfer instructions and cheques
• Perform reconciliation with suppliers’, inter-group receivables and payables, banks, and petty cash
• Prepare monthly closing journal vouchers.
• Prepares debit/credit notes on a monthly basis with adequate supporting documentation and coordinating with Group Companies for this purpose.
• Prepare Company budget and monitor them on a monthly basis.
• Prepare monthly MIS summary by comparing budgets and actuals for management review.
• Prepare monthly cash flow and updating forecasts
• Process payroll and maintains payroll.
• Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
• Ensure Monthly MIS closing and reporting, monitoring of budgets v/s actual results and carrying out necessary activities in this regard.
• Monitor account balances and related financial activity for the purpose of verifying accuracy.
• Liaise with internal departments of the Company on financial and accounting matters
• Prepare quarterly and yearly Reporting packages of the Company as required for Group
• Reporting
• Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
• Preparing & presenting Board of Directors (BOD) meetings documents (Financials) & preparing general updates on the operations and minutes of the meeting.
• Provide ad hoc reports required by Head Office and assist Head office FM.
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for costing.
• Developing external relationships with banks and adhering to banking facility requirements and daily bank requirements
• Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential

Requirements

• At least ten (10) years of finance experience with at least five (5) years in a managerial role
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Excellent command over written and spoken English;
• Good knowledge of International Accounting and financial reporting standards with sound technical knowledge.

Experience in EPC Companies is preferable
