We are seeking a entrepreneurial-minded, forward thinking Finance professional to join this established team and drive innovative finance function. The role will report to the Director and provide comprehensive and accurate financial, business intelligence and commercial input on all projects across diverse sectors and growth stages, ensuring effective and commercially viable decisions are taken. The role will build and develop the accounting function further and establish and implement best practice and new policies and procedures across the framework. There will be a strong understanding of accounting principles, local and GCC based VAT strategy and reported filing and audit protocols.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader and be able to guide and motivate the team, ensuring solid reporting structure and full compliance with IFRS. Excellent knowledge of analytical, quantitative and modeling skills, specifically the analysis of complex operating/financial/evaluation/ credit models. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate strong market knowledge and have the ability to analyse the competitive landscape and value chains and possess broad experience related to commercial operations and corporate governance.
An excellent command of English is required to communicate with key stakeholders across various levels and candidates will have excellent negotiation skills. To apply, we require at least seven years relevant experience, with a corporate finance education background and qualified chartered accountancy qualification. Additionally, an MBA (Finance) would be advantageous.
