Job description / Role
An experience Finance Manager with the capability to develop a new team and implement the department’s structure is required for a new entity, which is part of a wider group. Responsible for a team of 3-5 employees, you will provide all analysis and over view of the day to day activities and therefore provide detailed information to the Senior Team to facilitate in their decision making process. We are therefore seeking an experienced individual with relevant financial qualifications to determine the strategy and policies, obtain appropriate funding and mitigate risk.
The Finance Manger will be responsible for all FP&A to IFRS and develop the department to ensure that all cash flow and internal control are constantly monitored. You will also develop the entities overall budget and therefore you will liaise with the Senior Team and report into the Group Head of Finance, also based in Dubai.
In addition to the day to day financial activities the role will encompass evaluation of sales figures, management of payroll, capex and opex to interpret actual financial information in order to provide commentary and forecasting to the senior team to assist them to move the business forwards in the future. Performing month and year end closing, the Finance Manager will be fully involved in both internal and external audits and VAT compliance and seen very much as the financial expert in the business. With regards to the team you will be expected to develop the expertise within by being hands on with training, policy and procedural development and the setting of team objectives.
The successful applicant will be an experienced Finance Manager with relevant qualifications such as ACCA, CA or CPA and 2 years of UAE financial exposure. You will be a critical thinker, able to analyse financial information down to the last detail and interpret this information to non-financial Seniors and those at C-suite level. With excellent communication skills and the ability to ensure tight controls and a motivated team, this role is a great opportunity to join a new entity and be part of a growing organisation.
