Finance Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturing enterprise. They are seeking to expand their workforce and are looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager for their UAE facility.

Client Details

The organisation is a manufacturing titan; with a respective production capacity of over 300,000 tonnes. They have been in the industry for over 20+ years, catering to multiple organisations within the MENA region. They are currently seeking a 'Finance Manager' to join their team.

Description

* Oversee the Finance Department and ensure that they provide support to all relevant departments and subsidiaries
* Supervise financial transactions to ensure that they recorded accurately and adhere to internal compliance procedures
* Implement new financial policies and monitor them to ensure that they are effective
* Assess areas for improvement in terms of cost management and suggest recommendations to mitigate it
* Manage and optimise financial systems
* Work closely with different departments to assess actual company performance against expected results, and subsequently formulate appropriate action plans
* Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders of the organisation
* Keep abreast with IFRS reporting standards and update employees on any changes in the accounting standards
* Liaise with internal and external auditors for the entire annual audit process
* Prepare cash forecasts on a weekly and monthly basis
* Develop strategic plans and formulate annual budgets with assistance from the CFO
* Work closely with the CFO on any ad hoc tasks and projects

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
* 3-5 years of experience within a similar role
* Accounting qualification preferred
* Knowledgeable with ERP systems
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Excellent analytical skills
* Solid communication skills
