Our client is a growing business in the Education Sector. They are based out of Abu Dhabi and are looking to hire a Finance Manager as part of their expansion plans

Client Details

Our client is a group of schools based in Abu Dhabi and they are recruiting a Finance Manager to oversee their portfolio

Description

* Provide strategic and operational finance recommendations to the management
* Ensure development of policies on strategic issues related to the schools' financial integrity
* Prepare budgets and present them to the management
* Develop financial forecasts and financial accounts and investment reporting for the schools
* Identify and evaluate investment opportunities for the group
* Prepare long-term business and financial planning and present to the management
* Ensure that control, monitoring and performance standards and mechanisms are in place for all financial and investment related matters as well as for school fee collections
* Ensure the development and effective implementation of finance and accounting policies the group level and the schools
* Liaise and develop relationships with government authorities and other bodies relevant to finance and accounts
* Provide direction and management of school finance and accounting teams
* Provide accurate and timely reporting against the Finance Key Performance Indicators, including the provision of appropriate evidence

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, CPA etc. is an advantage
* Minimum 8 years of experience, of which, at least 4 are in a managerial capacity
* Experience in the Education sector is an added advantage
* This role will be based in Abu Dhabi - ideal candidate is already in Abu Dhabi or is willing to relocate
