Your new role

Financial management & reporting

• Manage day-to-day accounting and ensure timely financial statements under IFRS/UAE regulations
• Oversee VAT filings and liaise with auditors
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles

Planning & analysis

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly management reports
• Provide variance analysis and recommendations to improve financial performance
• Support business case preparation for new initiatives or partnerships

Internal controls & processes

• Implement ERP/accounting systems and improve finance workflows
• Strengthen internal controls and compliance procedures
• Ensure governance policies are followed

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's in finance/accounting (master's optional)
• 8-10 years of relevant finance/accounting experience in the UAE (preferably in startups, media, or tech)
• Strong IFRS, VAT, and financial reporting knowledge
• Hands-on ERP/financial systems experience
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a plus, not mandatory
• Strong analytical skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
