Our client, a multinational within the oil and gas service industry, is looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager on a 6 month contract for their regional offices in Dubai.

Our client is a multinational provider of oil and gas services right from exploration until end use. They are now looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager on a 6 month contract for their drilling Services division in Dubai.

Description

Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager for the drilling services, this role will be responsible to/for:

* Managing operational data and ensuring data integrity and accuracy for a business unit
* Develop operational procedures, documentation of data flow and system controls to ensure data integrity statements
* Month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation
* Performance analysis of operations that drive growth, strategy and profitability initiatives by understanding Company strategies and goals
* Develop financial plans and forecasts and analysis of variances against plans
* Ensure cash flow is maximised through smart accounts payable and current accounts receivable
* General ledger detail review and proper creation of journal entries in a timely manner
* Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
* Management of fixed asset and inventory recording
* Review and evaluate possible cost reduction opportunities
* Management of bank reconciliations, guarantees, local bank relationships, statutory audit and regulatory reporting requirements
* Management of local monthly and annual tax requirements
* Liaise with support teams e.g. operations, legal, insurance, tax in the review of commercial tenders/contracts assisting to minimize risk to the business

Job Offer

The successful candidate for this 6 month contract role will be offered a competitive monthly salary of 22,000 - 24,000 AED per month, all-inclusive of basic, housing and transport allowances, with additional family benefits. Requirements

The successful candidate for this Finance Manager (6 Month Contract) role will be professionally qualified with a degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. Candidates must have a minimum of 8-10 years of operational financial accounting and management reporting experience within the oil and gas industry. While UAE experience is a preference, our client is open to candidates that have recently relocated and fit the selection criteria. Candidates who are immediately available will be highly desirable for this position.
