Job description / Role
An all-encompassing Finance Manager & Business Partner is required for an international, independent creative agency. Having recently expanded into the Middle East region with a Dubai office, they have recognised the need to be more front facing and accessible to their clients in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Therefore, this Finance Manager BP role will be fully involved not just in the day to day financials, but also in driving the business forward, engaging directly with clients and delivering presentation pitches.
Working closely with the senior EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) Finance teams you will ensure that all client finances are managed appropriately and provide monthly management accounts with clear and concise commentary and financial advice to enable the regional business unit to develop further. The role will also encompass developing and managing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure finance compliance, due diligence and a strong network of suppliers and 3rd party partners.
It is also required that the successful individual will be client facing and support the GM in business development meetings to prepare, review and analyse client budgets, forecast and overall costs of high profile projects to ensure maximum profitability for the company. You will also assist with commercial requirements associated with new business activities and assist to identify new revenue enhancement opportunities.
The ideal candidate for this role will be robust, dynamic and resilient to be an integral part of the development of the brand in the region. You will be the “go to person” whom is pro- active and able to demonstrate sound commercial awareness in making positive and profitable business decisions. Therefore, you will show strong leadership qualities and strength of character as well as formal financial qualifications and experience, ideally from a marketing environment. You will be a Senior Finance candidate ready to take on a challenging role where you are able to drive the business forward, not just with day to day financial acumen but also in terms of further business development, client growth and supporting the team to make important business decisions to develop strong profit margins for the future.
