Job description / Role
An excellent opportunity is available with a global leading Retail group for a Finance Officer - Accounts Payable within the Supermarkets industry to be based in Dubai.
You will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function for the Supermarkets division to ensure the business operations; purchase and suppliers run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities for the Finance Officer - Accounts Payable - Supermarkets
* Ensure that Supplier Master has been accurately maintained in the systems in accordance to the T&Cs agreed with the suppliers.
* Prepare suppliers invoices after a thorough verification
* Calculate supplier rebates in line with the agreed terms and verify in the books of accounts in the right period
* Review the effective internal controls are in place related to accounts payable function
Requirements
Key Requirements for the Finance Officer - Accounts Payable - Supermarkets
* Only candidates from a Super/Hypermarkets industry background to be considered
* Must hold a degree and qualified (CA, ACCA, CPA)
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Preferably, UAE driving license holder
