Finance Officer - Invoicing and Billing

The finance officer within the accounts receivables team will be responsible for highly detailed client-specific invoices across multiple business areas. Liaising with various commercial revenue teams - charter, holidays, engineering - for billing processes. You will make sure accounting is timely and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and managing billing interfaces
• Ensuring invoices are delivered to the customer on a timely basis
• Performing daily activities of billing and auditing of assigned claims
• Monitoring the billing metrics database and utilizing the metrics to improve performance
• Reconciling billing customer accounts to the revenue ledger
• Performing month-end closing activities and managing revenue billing accruals
• Supporting internal and external auditor queries
• Supporting the tax team with billing queries
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, and state and federal regulatory bodies
• Assisting with the implementation of new billing systems
• Coordinating with accounts receivable, credit/collections, and GL team

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field minimum
• Knowledge of main ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience within the relevant field
• Ability to prioritize and manage time
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written
• Experience with a large customer base and high transaction volume
