Synopsis

The finance officer within the accounts receivables team will be responsible for highly detailed client-specific invoices across multiple business areas. Liaising with various commercial revenue teams - charter, holidays, engineering - for billing processes. You will make sure accounting is timely and accurate.
Accountabilities
- Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and managing billing interfaces
- Ensures invoices are delivered to the customer on a timely basis
- Performs daily activities of billing and auditing of assigned claims
- Monitors the billing metrics database and utilizes the metrics to improve performance
- Reconciling billing customer accounts to the revenue ledger
- Perform month-end closing activities and manage revenue billing accruals
- Support internal and external auditor queries
- Support tax team with billing queries
- Ensure compliance with company policies, and state and federal regulatory bodies
- Assist with the implementation of new billing systems
- Coordinating with accounts receivable, credit/collections, and GL team
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field minimum
- Knowledge of main ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience within a relevant field
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written
- Experience with a large customer base and high transaction volume
