Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Participates in the development of the overall financial strategy for the Company ;

• Participates in the formulation of the financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including Tax, Withholding Payments (CPP, EI), Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax.
• Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor.
• Provides financial advice on the overall corporate financial position.
• Prepares financial business plans and submits them to the GM & CFO for discussion and recommendation to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
• Coordinates and supervises all financial and accounting operations e.g. credit controls, capital expenditures, account receivable, payable, budgeting, sales, purchasing, costing, general expenses, ..etc. and own the monthly; quarterly and weekly reporting packs on Group and Board level.
• Monitors comparative budgeting reports and recommends corrective action as may be necessary, based on actual results achieved.
• Monitors the implementation of policies and procedures in an efficient manner to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Provide clarification and advice as the case may be on financial policies and procedures to be followed and monitors their execution.
• Reviews the contracts prior to approbation to identify their financial impact on the Company’s operations.
• Ensures the implementation of all the financial contracts.
• Monitors the granting of credit facilities to customers with a scope to identify the credit worthiness of customers prior to opening of accounts and sales transactions.
• Coordinates with the HR and Administration Manager to ensure appropriate insurance coverage to cover all potential risks related to the Company’s assets.
• Conducts various financial and organizational studies to analyze and suggest the means for optimal utilization of resources and define corrective / preventive actions needed.
• Supporting the S&M function on revenue management (discounts; pricing; pack rationalization initiatives ..etc.
• Ensures the efficient operation of the computerized financial applications and suggest necessary development / customization of the software, including training needs for handling their roles and responsibilities and managing the software.
• Develop and maintain supported by SAP cash Management; accounts payable; accounts receivable; credit control and Petty Cash.
• Supervises and controls the preparation of all the financial and management reports and ensures their timeliness within the framework of the corporate established policies and procedures and in compliance with the top management requirements and also to assist the GM & CFO by providing advice to support the decision making process.
• Supervises his direct subordinates work programs and performance.
• Assumes all authorities outlined in the authority matrix.
• Determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with GM and CFO and in collaboration with all other Department Heads.
• Providing financial information and interpreting the implications for business performance and funding needs
• Coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of accounting systems
• Directing the preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast the organization’s financial position such as income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings and income
• Assessing capital finance proposals and the financial status of operational projects
• Advising on investment strategies, sources of funds and the distribution of earnings
• Delivering long range profit forecasts, budgeting and financial reporting
• Ensuring compliance with financial legislation and standards
• Developing financial aims and strategies, financial structures, dividend policy, investment appraisals, including acquisition and divestment appraisals.
• Identifying, managing and reporting on financial risks.
• Assisting with equity management, debt management, and securities issues.


He is expected to deal with ;
• All managers to ensure the controls are implemented
• External auditors to comply with statutory requirements
• CFO to recommend strengthening of policies.
• GM to provide all Financial Input for the Company

Requirements

• Candidate must be available in the UAE
• Minimum 5-8 years expertise in the managerial roles, in the UAE.
• Must be an Arabic Speaker
• Male candidates preferred.
• Excellent Leadership Skills
• Excellent Analytical & Forecasting abilities
