Position Summary:
Based within the Finance Department and reporting to the Financial Controller, the ‘Finance Specialist – Treasury & AP’, shall work very closely with him to manage the accounts payable and treasury activities of the department with the support of the junior accountants in the team.

Responsibilities:

Treasury:

Treasury functions which includes the following:
- Managing bank accounts.
- Lead the payment process for Delta Partners Group companies by ensuring the following:
- Payables Aging Schedule is properly monitored and all suppliers are paid on time;
- Supporting documents (i.e. LPO as applicable, approvals, etc.) are intact;
- Ensure that invoices are properly approved and verified as per Delta Partners Group companies’ approvals matrix.

Maintain and take ownership of the cash books (both on the system and in excel) with tasks including the following:
- On a daily basis, upload the daily exchange rates in oracle.
- Closely monitor the bank balances on a daily basis and inform the group CFO, the Finance Controller and the AR team for any collections made.
- Contribute significantly in cash planning exercises and prepare reports such as weekly cash movement, cash flow forecasts taking into consideration the funding requirements of individual entities and the group as a whole through inter-company transfers, etc.

Prepare bank and supplier reconciliations.
Be the main point of contact for all banking relationships including pricing, interest rates, line of credits (if any), bank guarantee, etc.

Managing the Petty Cash processing for all Delta Partners Group companies with the following key responsibilities:
- Review of petty cash reports submitted by various petty cash holders; and
- Review petty cash reconciliations.

Performing various financial analyses and balance sheet reconciliations as required.
Assist the Financial Controller in supervising the work of the Central Processing team suggesting improved and better ways of performing tasks.

Accounts Payable:

Managing trade accounts payable and supplier ledgers of all Delta Partners Group companies with following key responsibilities:
- Create new vendors following set guidelines/processes.
- Prepare AP ledger reports regularly (AP Ageing Report and Payment Register) for the Finance Controller and ensure that AP ledger month end closing is done appropriately and within agreed deadlines.

Prepare reconciliations for suppliers on a regular basis.

Performing various balance sheet reconciliations, on monthly basis, for the areas relevant for AP team.

Assist the Financial Controller in preparing any management reports relevant for the AP area, as part of the monthly management accounts pack, mainly revolved around OPEX.

Other areas:
As needed based on circumstances, he/she should be able to play multiple roles within the finance department providing active support in treasury, payroll AP, AR, etc.; without necessarily limiting himself/herself to areas that he/she is responsible.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position, including supervision experience
- Minimum level of qualification – Undergrad degree in Finance and Accounting or AAT or CAT
- Excellent analytical ability
- Proactive, hands-on problem solver
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task

Technical:
- Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP and accounting system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, Word and Power-point

***Please note the salary range for this role is between 14-16,000 Dirhams monthly***
