Job description / Role
Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are looking for a strong Financial Accountant to join our multinational client based in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
* To prepare quarterly report to the Financial Manager outlining forthcoming Accounting Standards updates and changes relevant to the organisation, and their impact on the Group reporting.
* To produce multiple sets of statutory accounts.
* To remain up to date with regulatory changes.
* To take responsibility for balance sheet accounts, including undertaking monthly reconciliations.
* To reconcile intercompany accounts on a monthly basis.
* To review monthly intercompany charges and management fees charged to associate companies.
* To assist in the annual budget and monthly forecast process for capital expenditure.
Requirements
* Must have 3-5 years of practical experience in financial reporting.
* Strong academic background.
* Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels across the business.
