Job description / Role

The Role

Due to the year-on-year growth and continued expansion across the UAE the firm is looking to hire an Assistant Finance Manager to harmonize the accounting and internal control environment to ensure effective and timely reporting across the various business units;

The role will involve:

* Maintain the books of account for a number of different legal entities including annual audit FS preparation and ensuring information is available in a timely basis (5 working days) for Management Reports on a monthly basis
* Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations
* Income statement preparation
* Understanding of SAP and general ledger reconciliation
* Financial shared services against deliverable and performance KPIs
* Account closing management and report
* Preparing multiple entities Statutory Accounts and liaising with Auditors
* Responsible for audit closure on all entities

Requirements

The Candidate

* Qualified Chartered Accountant
* Proven leadership skills of teams including recruitment, training and appraisals
* Must be at Audit Manager level ideally from a Big 4 firm with a strong grasp of IFRS technical standard
* Expert knowledge of statutory, regulatory and legal requirements across MENA
